As an individual born on the cusp of the civil rights movement/intergration, I was groomed to learn how to live with and being understanding of the differences that exist in society. I've learned that communication is necessary for this to occur. No understanding or relationship can ever take place without this first step. Thus, the birth of this Blog "Can We Talk" evolved. I am hopeful that it will provide a forum that contributes to a better understanding of a number of both positive and negative issues that currently exist in the world we live in.
